Welcome to Academy of Classical Painting
Academy of Classical Painting is based on painting experience preserved from the period of Ancient history, Byzantine, Renaissance and the art at the beginning of twentieth century. The course encompasses studies of each element of classical art expression individually allowing creation of art by skill, creation and idea similar to those art works that bring millions of visitors to Louvre, the State Hermitage Museum, Uffizi Gallery, Metropolitan and the Museo del Prado... Classical painting studies can join to small number of guardians of this knowledge and value in Europe and America.
Knowledge acquired by this program, in every sense is a necessary foundation for all other fields of fine art. The concept and program of this Faculty is engraved in its title: Academy of Classical Painting.
From Altamira, through ancient civilizations, to the beginning of European culture the modern man has had a need to paint. Even the most modern technological tools from photo camera to computers have not diminished the human need to record the world seen, our fascination with visual sensation, lively and synthetic visual impressions with charcoal pen, calligraphy pen and brush.
Changes in human thoughts and invasion of new media and new ways of expression of the same fascination has not damaged, destroyed nor diminished the significance of painting. On the contrary, all these new trends put the painting and classical painting to pedestal from where it has to resist to modern changes and challenges.
What is the secret of classical painting timelessness? Drawing, hue, color and many other art elements of its universal expression, its clarity and perseverance and proved and verified measurable and obvious values make classical art immortal. Every art, literature and music has its own specific, defined and constant and at the same time universal and understandable, verified and measurable system, the language expression- the language of art.
Civilization values that are the greatest museum treasure of the world and the paintings that suffered inevitable passing of time are the benchmark and a goal we aspire in the program of Academy of classical painting.
The works Leonardo, Rafael, Titian, and Rembrandt did from age of 7 to 25 we have to teach our students for 3, 5 to 8 years under the enforcement of the age we live in. This incredible achievement is possible to perform only by verified method, step by step and from one element to another through sacred language of image and art. This is enabled by quality teaching staff that unselfishly transfers their unlimited knowledge and long term experience to students.

Concept and program of this faculty lies within its core essence of the title itself: Academy of Classical Painting. Human fascination of environment, from the moment of eyes opening at birth expresses and confirms recording of a sight seen, expressing it through art and preserve an evidence of the sights seen.
