Welcome to Faculty of Business Economy
Faculty of business economy is higher education, scientific and research institution providing training in quality and creative work in the field of business and economics, management of own entrepreneurial company, successful participation in economic organizations in the field of service as well as for strategic and operational management of concrete economic reality.
As all modern scientific and educational institutions, the Faculty of Business Economy aspires to permanent innovation of its educational profile complying with modern and current needs of our society, international community, market tendencies and requirements of world and domestic science.
The first two years have a common program. Students make a choice in the third year of bachelor academic studies between two modules: Finances and Banking or Tourism and Sport.
The course in the field of finances and banking directs student to studies of theoretical and practical aspects of banking and financial system functioning and where they acquire a solid base for further education on master studies in the field of business, monetary and public finances. The course programs in the area of sport and tourism provide the students with acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of tourism and sport business in the country and European Union.
Modeling and development of course programs of business economy entirely complies with European educational processes. Students will be provided with knowledge and skills in development of competence for managerial position both in private and public sector. Students who finish the course of bachelor academic studies will obtain the title: Economist - Bachelor. Students who finish Master academic course will acquire the title Economist – Master. Upon finalization of doctoral studies and final doctoral dissertation the students will acquire the title: Doctor of Economic Science.
